POLICE LOG: 'House Party' Ends with Stolen iPhone

Featured Call of the Day:

Feb. 18 – At 10:54 p.m., police responded to a Grant Street home for a report of stolen items. According to police, two parents had gone out with the understanding that their teenage daughter would have “a couple of friends over.” But when the parents came home, it was a “full-blown house party with upwards of 30 partygoers,” said officers. The teens fled the home, and the parents realized that some cash, a watch, an iPhone and a checkbook were taken during the party.

Feb. 16 –

At 12:09 p.m., police responded to a Totman Drive residence. According to police, a woman wanted a police presence when she returned home. Two officers kept the peace while the woman was in the house, said police.
